Slick Tricks have be tuned as well. Some broadheads are easier to tune. It's been my experience that Slicks are the easiest and Muzzy are the most difficult. That's just from my own personal experience, so don't any of you Muzzy shooters get offended.
I'm shooting muzzy mx3's shaw lol

When I had my current bow setup first, two years ago, I bought a pack of slick tricks and mx-4's and shot one afternoon. Goal was an economical fixed blade, with a tough point/tip, and easily replaceable blades. Obviously - I had Shaw's experience, and reading some posts here over the last couple of years, it's a trend.

No need to apologize to the muzzy lovers, Shaw - some folks enjoy a challenge.

Went through this 3 years ago, finally switched arrows and went with slightly heavier arrow with a stiffer spine and that fixed the issue. I tried everything I could think of first before finally reading something on archery talk about weight and spine stiffness. I've been shooting expandables (NAP Killzone Trophy tips)for 2 years but can throw on a slick trick or muzzy and they'll fly right with my field tips.

I've about all but give up on trying to get Slick tricks tuned this year. Bow is paper tuned, bare shafted, and been looked over too to bottom by me and a pro shop. I was kinda on the edge with arrow spine, so a brought my poundage down to where I should be fine now. Slick tricks are hitting 2" right, and I can move my rest right or left all day and the poi of my field points and broad heads stay the same, they won't come together. I can't figure it out, nor can my shop. I can move my sight over a hair and be good to go, but it's driving me nuts.

I've order some rage hypodermics and am going to try them. I might try some other fixed and see if I have similar results. Anyone have any recommendations on a find blade other then slick tricks that are generally easy to tune?

Well Im shooting a pse hammer at around 65lb with a 27.5 draw length. Arrow are beamans ics 400 at 28.4 inches. I moved my rest over just a tad and I got my broadheads hitting exactly where I'm aiming but my field points moved to the right. I can't get them together. What do I need to do now?

Stop worrying about where the field points are hitting and go hunting with the broad heads.

For years I would just adjust my sights for broad heads the week before season opened and just not worry about where the field points hit.

A few years ago I started shooting Shuttle T broadheads out of a New Breed Eclipse and the broad heads and field points now have the same POI out to 60 yards.

With my PSE Evo I had to go down to 340 spine and up to 9.5 grains per inch weight wise, that's the only way I could get both tuned. The best flying fixed broad heads I shot were G5 Montecs, they flew best off my bow. I finally said screw it and went back to expendables and haven't looked back.

Sounds like your arrows are right on the edge of being under spined

All of this has me wondering; I shoot Easton Aftermath arrows; 340 spine with 100 gr Muzzy Trocar broad heads, their POI is the same as shooting field points, tested everyone of my hunting arrows and they all hit dead on. Did I get lucky?

Yep, you got lucky, sbo1971.

Hevishot, back your limb bolts out one complete turn each and see what happens. Are you shooting left handed?

Shaw I'm shooting right handed. And I'm shooting muzzy mx3 100 grain. I've tried and tried to make sure my form is consistant. Currently the way I'm set up, what spine should I need? I don't really like these arrows either. I want to get something else

I would give yoke tuning a try. Then go back to broadhead tuning.

Are you shooting 100gr. points right now? If you get new shafts and want to continue shooting them at 28.5" inches, I'd go with a 340. If you have them cut to your draw length, you might get away with a 400 if you're shooting a 100gr point.

When you're at full draw, does the string track straight off the top cam or to one side?

I'm shooting 100 grain field points and 100 grain muzzies. The arrow from insert to tip of nock is 28 7/8 inches. I was at a 28 inch draw length I think, but I moved it to 27, 27 1/2 can't remember and I shoot better that way. All I want is an accurate bow.

No I checked that today as I was reading through some things on the Internet and I seen to check that. It looks (to me) that the string comes straight back from the top cam at full draw. I've hated these arrows since I've got them. Full draw in Huntsville talked me into getting them but I should've known better. I think they just want to sell em. I didn't know enough to know better
