I would buy something else, save a little more and get a better brand, Vortex is not that good in my opinion, especially their lower end scopes, I owned a Viper 6.5-20x50 and was very disappointed in the clarity, had blurred edges and all. Was not much better than a Tasco. You shoulda sent that back to Vortex. They would have made it right. That is NOT a common problem with the Viper line Doc, After reading the reviews of this scope I thought I was getting a decent scope, boy was I wrong. I own a few Zeiss Conquest and Meopta, was not expecting it to be of that quality but at least on par with VX3's. It was maybe of Swift quality glass. It was truly a disappointment. I'm saving my dimes for a Super Sniper 5-20x50 for my 308. I'll never buy a Votux again.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
