I can't see the bite. Can you lure the sasquatch away with some Jack Links and take another photo?

I think if you're brave enough to post that pic on here you have all ready made up your mind what you should do.

The area of redness in your pic looks like a reaction to some form of insect or tick, however it is impossible to tell which without you bringing the bug in. . You need to be seen. I would prescribe doxycycline 100 mg twice daily and order a rmsf/Lyme blood test based on your recent experience. You will need to stay on doxy until the labs come back which is about 5 days usually. Odds are your testing will be negative but I've had 8 positive Rocky Mountains and one positive Lyme titer already this year. You don't need to see a specialist for this, any md worth their salt can do this for you.

I have never had a tick bite look like this before....assuming this is where one of them was. I had so many I honestly don't remember where all of them were. Had a ton of chigger bites but also pulled prolly 40 of the tiniest little ticks I have ever seen off of me at various spots. They were so small I found them for days afterward.

I'm prob not the best to listen to. It's a wonder I've never got sick and died. I get bit about 30 times a year. Bugs love me. If my mom wouldn't have saw that recluse bite I prob wouldn't have went then. I'm glad I did though. It got nasty in a hurry.

Better safe than sorry. Go to doc. Best thing you can do for yourself is catch it early if there's any infection..

I don't know but I got a tick off me next to the jewels a couple of years back. Felt bad a few days later. Went to the doctor and wound up in the hospital for 5 days on heavy antibiotics. Still have numbing in my face.

Sweatpants?? This case of vaginitis appears pretty serious. I'd see a specialist asap.

Chad, I gotta admit... I started to put my photoshop shop skills to work on this thread (definitely should have after that shucks you pulled on MLK day), but figured you're probably already curled up in a fetal position in the corner crying, all the while thinking you're gonna die! So I'm taking the high road tonight! thumbup

Oh, hope the plague on the back of your arm clears up soon! grin Just get about 1,000 of Fur's bee's and sting that spot all over and you'll either lose the arm or be fine. grin

So how does it look now? If it were a widow or recluse and you didn't get treatment you should be in a pretty rough spot about now

I actually developed 5 more rashes on my back, a couple of them way bigger than the ones on my arm. One of the forms of Erythema Migrans rashes that stem from Lyme disease according to the Dr. I saw. He didn't even do bloodwork. Just put me on a 20 day regimen of antibiotics for Lyme disease.

Dang, I would've asked for the test anyway.... To rule out vaginitis! Hope all goes well for you.
