Which do you you prefer and any particular drop away brand? I don't like any concept that holds an arrow 360 degrees like a WB. JMHO. Arrows flex and stuff coming off the bow naturally. A QAD drops off out of the way. So: QAD

A whisker biscuit is the best hunting rest there is, IMO. However, I now shoot a QAD. It's hard to tell if you are joking? I hope so. I'm surprised they have enough business to keep making them. They have ONE good application - on a kids bow so the arrow stays put before the shot.

I deal with mechanical stuff all day, 5 days a week, mechanical stuff fails. If my QAD causes problems just once, it'll have a new home and I'll have a new biscuit, and I'll kill deer with it!

Sounds like operator error to me Yep along with a bad fletching job. It will rip off your fletching. I'd say more like every few hundred shots, but it definitely beats them up over time

So not as much advantage as some drop away guys think at first - but still an advantage. The trend that is most noticeable is a lot of people complaining about fletching coming off - it's not just me - and I didn't really mean every other shot, just trying to get a point across. But here's the issue - torque. Nobody shoots as well in a tree. Nobody has perfect form when buck fever takes over. Hand position / pressure changes, etc. I'm not saying a drop away handles that error perfectly - it doesn't. But they will be way more forgiving with bad form. I'm not a great shot - never have been, never claimed to be. I need all the forgiveness I can get. And there's really no debating the advantage in forgiveness with a drop away.

I shot a biscuit for about 7 or 8 years and I shoot a lot. Doesn't matter if it's a factory glue job or my fletching job, they will get torn up eventually. FYI I'm not downing a whisker biscuit, I think they are just fine for hunting.
