I shoot a WB and have never had issues with it. I didn't have issues - except for fletching being torn off every other shot and accuracy. Small things!! Sounds like operator error to me I've read all the studies - drop away proves more accurate, but only slightly more accurate and speed loss for a WB is only 3-6 fps. So not as much advantage as some drop away guys think at first - but still an advantage. The trend that is most noticeable is a lot of people complaining about fletching coming off - it's not just me - and I didn't really mean every other shot, just trying to get a point across. But here's the issue - torque. Nobody shoots as well in a tree. Nobody has perfect form when buck fever takes over. Hand position / pressure changes, etc. I'm not saying a drop away handles that error perfectly - it doesn't. But they will be way more forgiving with bad form. I'm not a great shot - never have been, never claimed to be. I need all the forgiveness I can get. And there's really no debating the advantage in forgiveness with a drop away. If you shoot Marco vanes or Blazers that are glued properly , they'll stay on going through a biscuit just fine.
