My boy was introduced to fishing with wasp larvae a few weeks back after I knocked a bunch of nests down at the farm. I gathered up a cup full of baby mice for him too while I was cleaning up in the shop and he had some fun bass fishing with them. More than once I've had to talk him out of using his pet gecko as bait for that big bass he's after.  How do you hook a baby mouse? Do they work good? He hooked them through the skin on the back end and as long as they were swimming the bass went crazy over them. The problem was they were only good for about one cast before they went under. We ran out of mice pretty quick.
