Seen 6 yesterday evening and 2 so far this morning but nothing in range, my dad text me about 7:30 saying he shot an 8pt..I'm proud for him, first deer he's shot with his bow in about 5 years, I'm gonna get down here shortly and help him with the recovery

Nice ...I have been hunting hard since Thursday morning and have only seen a spike so far. I have been hunting the acorns big time damn near had to wear a hard hat. Decided to take it easy and hunt a greenfield surround by white oaks this evening....I am trying to get us some points

Nice hopper. I had a chance in a doe this morning but I didn't see them in time and when I finally did it was too late to stand up. Walked ten yards from me. Easy shot but I just wasn't ready.

Dang it man ....I got two more days to get it done then it is only weekends until December taking half the month off then

Well I didn't see a single deer all day Thursday.

Didn't hunt Friday.

Saturday I saw 3 bucks (big 8pt and two basket racks) and 7 does....they were all about 80-100 yards away, angling away from me.

Hunted this morning and busted all my deer out walking in...sat till 10:00 and didn't even see a squirrel. This evening I sat from 3:00 till dark, had two does come in right under me at 6:20, but we don't shoot any does on this little property. As I was watching them (and it had gotten DARK, maybe 6:30) another lone deer came in from the other direction, but I could never see it. This is where I snuck up on those bucks the other day, and that deer came in from where I saw those bucks, but who knows.

That's all I got.

I saw 5 slick heads yesterday, 6 slick heads this morning but no shot on any of them. Went to a spot this afternoon on the property I hunt that I rarely ever deer hunt, but I've killed the long beards in it. Matter of fact, I killed my biggest bird there last year and it's my favorite turkey spot. I deer hunted it last year one time at the end of the season in the peak of the rut sitting on the ground. Right at dark I had 6 does almost run me over that were being chased by a 130"+ buck but I had no shot.

Well anyway, I went up into the mountain at this spot and it is nothing but white oaks and chesnut oaks and it is slap torn up with deer sign. Droppings, rubs, trails. So I found the perfect spot and hung an api baby grand 20 feet up a tree. I can see six ways that deer travel out of this one stand. Not really a bow stand, I hung it for the rut. But I'll probably hunt it next weekend for sure. I ran off 6 does while hanging it. It's just a long ways to drag a deer out so I'll probably only shoot good bucks out of it. I'm excited about it, but, the quickest way to ruin it is to hunt it so I'll only do that every so often. Hung a camera in it so we'll see. Maybe hopper and Ikillbux will have to come help me drag out ol swamp donkey lol

I don't mind helping drag one up a mountain hell I hunt walker county where everything is a mountain and nothing runs up hill. I didn't see nothing today....but I am gonna hit my go to spot in the morning and see what happens
