The only people going to heaven belong to Christ (any scripturally saved individual) A person is added to Christ's church when they are saved not by any vote of man. So the statement is correct but taken out of context. this  x1000 When I'm asked this question my answer is NO,BUT I ask them why anybody would want to take the chance of doing things contrary to scripture. I like to point out the many warnings given to those that add to or take away from God's word. If you have book,chapter and verse for your belief and practice how could God find fault,I mean that is the Book that will be opened and we all will be judged by. The scripture must not be taken out of context either when making a point. Imagine that you are given the task of leading your family and friends thru a dangerous land to safety. You are given a detailed map by someone that has made the journey and your told it's certain death if you take any of the wrong trails on the way. Halfway there you come to a fork in the road and their stands a fellow that says taking a left will save you 2 days traveling but the map says take a right. What would you do? Now apply that to Salvation and the safety is eternal life.
