That is correct

Read up on some Hebrews. It explains how Christ was the atoning sacrifice for all sins, past, present, and future. So the argument about the thief being "under the old covenant" doesn't wash. Jesus was the covenant all along. From Genesis to Exodus.

Just for the record here so no one is confused as to where I stand with my reply form this quote.

I am only and I repeat only agreeing and being friendly by saying that I agree with him on that issue alone. Pretty much why I only quoted that little section. Your right Christ was the Lamb that took away the sin(the penalty that is) of the whole world. Whether it is believed or not I just so happens to buy into, I'm that gullible. That is Good News!

Fact is Jesus satisfied the sin debt that was owed by man. He took it all on Himself at the Cross....He that knew no sin became sin that we could become the righteousness of God In Christ.

Which brings up another good conversation. Besides an Identity crisis the Body of Christ has a terrible "sin conciseness" instead of a Jesus conciseness. We know more about sin than we do Jesus. He is little preached nor talked about. We know what sin is a mile away, we talk about sinning, not sinning, trying not to sin, little sin, big sin and everything under the sun dealing with sin. My if we'd just talk about Jesus! He is the answer friends.

opps, got off on another tantrum again sorry, lol!

Romans 8:1-2
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of Sin and Death"
