Just had a deer at 40, but it was a little too dark to shoot.

Ahh yes!!!! Everything is right with the world again. I'm set up on the edge of a food plot with water oaks on either side of me raining acorns. Don't have high hopes for this morning, wish I was in the woods, but I wasn't able to do much scouting. I'll probably throw the Lone Wolf on my back and do that this afternoon. Gotta diagnose a problem with my 4 wheeler when I come down later this morning. Good luck fellas.

46 slight north wind lee co. Hunted safe this morn, and hopped in a lock on at a food plot close to the house. Most of my white oak spots need a south wind. Feels great to be in a tree hopefully something I want to shoot will walk by.

Well I have swung but I couldn't tell 100% if I hit her. My dang nock didn't light up. I could have shot right under her. I was scared to range her after a three minute stare off. I'm gonna sit a while then go check it out. I think it's a clean miss.

Big white oaks are just to the left of this picture and behind me.

Sitting in a white oak flat next to a nice bedding area. I didn't get to scout at all this year, so came back to a spot I've hunted the past 2 years. The acorns are dropping slowly, hopefully enough in the ground to draw a deer in. It's a beautiful to be up a tree.

Good luck guys hope to see some pics soon. Glad the temperature is manageable this morning. It's been the same way here in NC. It's a month in to season and this is the first morning we've had at 50°.

I'm on the edge of two small, crappy corn fields. These fields didn't make much corn this year and the deer/coons have already eaten what did make. There's lots of water oaks dropping good all around me...I've been getting pics of 4 bucks coming through here in the early morning. Maybe they'll show up today!

Good luck, everyone!
