Just missed a 6pt. Had 2 5's and a 6 come right in. 35yd shot and went right over his back. I am sick. Hate to hear..wrong pin or like me over excited?..missed my first last year..the arrow is still in the tree..9ft up Over excited. I ranged everything right at daylight so I knew when he reached a certain spot he was 35yds. Had it been a doe I may have been able to contain it but wasn't expecting 3 bucks to walk right to me. I'm still shaking. This has and is a challenge like no other for me. We learn more from missed ones than the ones we get most of the time. Congrats on the excitement!! Nothing like having that heart racing!! God Bless, David B. You aint kidding. Thats actually the 1st deer I've ever been able to shoot at so thinking back I think I may not have been able to block that out during the draw. Hay bale I was pulling for you the other evening and hate you weren't able to recover yours. And your right I think I'd rather miss. I think my next opportunity I can try to settle down a bit.

I found blood where she was standing but I can't find any in the direction she ran. What was the shot placement like?

The blood will likely be faint for the first 70-100 yards because the deer is running wide open. Somewhere around 100+ yards the deer probably stopped and started walking and if hit good the blood should hopefully pick up.

Just shot my first deer with a bow! I've got a bloody arrow but I don't see any on the ground. I'm going to wait a little while before I start looking. Woohoo!!! Can't wait to see the pics!! God Bless, David B.

Dang all those pictures look sweet from my living room. I'm at home with the family and don't get to go until the 25th. Good luck guys I am at work and like you all the pics look good...but I can't find a dead deer or Waldo in them..whats up  Don't you have some tools to be calibrating? Get your ass to work. Yeah Yeah Yeah alway's but I am baby sitting plant 2..luckily not many calls yet..I assume like every Saturday they don't want to be here...I'll be waiting on some deer meat for lunch when you get back...next month  Let me call final 2 and tell them to mess some tools up for ya
