I have shot matches at Brock's Gap with these LEO's that you are talking about. They are good guys and always seem to help people out when shooting out there at the range. I know they do get some training time for shooting the matches. Plus it keeps them at the top of there game. Shooting is a learned thing and muscle memory is a must for when the bad comes along. You fall back on your training good or bad good training my save your life. I have also shoot with LEO's that didn't shoot much and it can make you wonder how they pass the yearly test. When they don't shoot as will as you think they should.

Thanks for all the LE support guys, i really appreciate it. If that officer is like me then he might have all the NRA Instructor certifications or asked to be a range master. Ive been asked to travel to alot of locations for different shoots including select fire matches. I also had the opportunity to run a range for numerous well known firearms manufacturers that were premiering new full auto rifles. I always drive my issued tahoe and i am also asked to. Simply ask the officer in a way that you are not coming off as a prick and i can assure you he will explain whats up. I like when people ask me questions about things they dont understand. They always have a better understanding and it gives me a chance to interact with the community, it also allows them to get to know me and to me that is important because i wanna know the people in my town that i am serving (community policing). A simple question is not against the law. And 9 times outta 10 we end up talking about football or something else going on in this crazy country before parting ways lol.

No way in modern times I would be a LEO. The new dangers they are in everyday being selected by criminals looking to murder them. Scared to escalate force when they need to. LEO's will get killed because of hesitating for fear of poping up on youtube and having their career ruined and possibly life threatened depending on the situation. I'm all for them using them. Detroit has supposedly started mounting cameras on their firearms. I don't see this working out well for them in the event that firearm is used in a killing and the video get leaked (IT WILL) to the web. Thank you to all you LEO's on this site.
