Looks like saraland will have a long ride home tonight after losing to Benjamin Russell. Hate it for the kids but I can't say the same for their hypocritical, piece of crap coach. Too bad he didn't get ran over on the sideline. Gotta wonder how far he'll dig to see if he can find an ineligible player on the BR team.

Not sure what his deal was, But I'm am certain he will not find nothing ineligible with the BR program.
41-10 BR played lights out.

Hope that didnt come across as accusing BR of having ineligible players.
Saraland's coach raised a stink a couple of years back about another local school playing an ineligible player. Yet, even though the kid didn't live in Saraland school district, he wanted the kid to play for him and told the kid and his parents how to get around the rules.

Falkville 35-34 over Hatton in OT. It looks like we will most likely be traveling down to Randolph County next week for round in 2a ball.

I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!

Can't win if you play like we did at deshler. Four snaps over qb head one over punter head. A dropped kickoff return and 100 yards of penalties. Sometimes things just fall apart. Cherokee county also had a good team and you can't beat a good team with mistakes.

Hayden beat East Limestone 19-0, first time ever to make 5A playoffs, and to get a win, very proud for the kids, school, and community. We play the winner of Guntersville vs. Ramsey game tonight.

HHSyelper, glad to see Hayden get the win. I have several friends there. The principal and I were best friends in high school. He and I used to hunt and fish together. Time changes things, but still enjoy talking with him when I can. Do Kim Hargett and Keith Miller still teach/coach there? Known them both a long time also.

No, not at all. Just making a statement that our coach has a lot of integrity. One of their players was ejected for continual shoving and such. Could have been more if enforced. A statement of character was evident.

BR headed to McAdory Friday night, they seem pretty legit.

Wedowee is pretty solid. They have a very good RB.

Clay-Chalkville gets to play Homewood next. Another home game. Should be a good one.
