How do you like the Elite? I'm about to upgrade my bow at the end of the yr. I have a Mathews now, but am open to changing and i have been hearing a lot of talk abut the Elite bows

Reaper you not far from me, your welcome to meet and shoot mine if you would like. Mine is an answer. If our draws are close that is.

I appreciate that but I'm afraid I might like it too much grin

So far so good. Virtually no hand shock, quick and quiet, very solid back wall, and large valley. You almost have to push it down to let down. Drawing a dual cam is different than a solo. I went with the 65# limbs with 27.5" DL and it's shooting my hunting arrow 286. Only thing I'm not comfortable with completely is the grip. Very narrow with the riser actually pushing into your palm. Made my palm a little sore after shooting two days. I have bony hands anyway. Im probably gonna order the full wood grip from them next week. Other than that, I love it. Having said that about the grip, I feel like I aim this bow better than any I've shot. After the shot, the bow stays vertical in your hand, without falling over, longer than the Mathews.

It's not a dual cam. It's a binary cam system. wink Dual cams have two split buss cables. Binary cams have two control cables. A hybrid cam has one control cable and one split buss cable. That concludes today's bow terminology lesson. grin

I started to put binary, but thought it was wrong and didn't want to look stupid. See how that worked out... Always go with your first thought. That concludes multiple choice test taking lessons for today. smile

I tried but I couldn't get a custom one in there. Maybe Shaw or someone with more computer smarts than me can change it for me. wink
