I guess heart/lung shots no longer posed a challenge. Hopefully they will mature someday. I wonder how many snouts were split open before they actually connected cleanly.
I once shot a deer between the eyes with a 12 gauge slug. Not on purpose. As I pulled the trigger, he lowered his head in front of his chest. I've killed deer with broad head cuts through their ears and snouts. Pisses me off.
