Awesome to see the pics of preparation and everything. Question just out of curiosity. I realize most of you trap because of nuisance pests and stuff like that, but do you guys do anything with the pelts, or do you just typically discard the animals?

Prices this year are in the dumper. Coons aren't bringing anything.

I only started a couple years ago, but I do it mainly for the enjoyment of checking the line. It's like Christmas as a kid, you don't know what you might have. It also helps to keep the turkey nest robber/fawn killer population down some.

I know in my area you never see rabbits. I believe its because of the high fox population. I see foxes every night at work, normally at least four, and that's in town. I hope to thin them out a little bit, even if not right in town.

Well, unfortunately I had empty traps this morning. I freshened up the scent, so hopefully I'll have better luck later on.

Glad you got something Hank.

2 bandits this morning. My double set by the creek worked like a charm.

Its better to sit in a stand and think about God, then to sit in church and think about hunting.

Kevin you just set the traps yesterday! Your bait is good for a week to 10 days unless you get a deluge rain fall. Set them and stay as far away from them as you can.

That's 2 more nest robbers gone Matt.

Big Rack have you got your steel traps out yet?

Caught this bandit this morning. She got all tangled up in the ladder stand.

It is awesome Doc! I've only got 10 steel traps out now but I've got vacation in December and I'll be running close to 200 a day. Come run them with me any day!
