Narrowed it down to these 2 choices. 1- 2007 Duramax crew cab LT 4x4 with 167k miles for $19,000
2- 2008 F250 King Ranch crew cab FX4 with 99k miles for $26,000

Does the 08 F250 have the 6.0?

Unless you really need a diesel truck, don't buy one. I'm a ford guy but you better be ready for some out of pocket expenses plus the payments with either.

I wouldn't buy a ford with a 6.0 or a 6.4 in it...

I wouldn't buy a ford with a 6.0 or a 6.4 in it... Or 6.7. I'm sure some you have all of these different motors that you will brag on but from understanding the 6.0 is now the the only one salvageable when the shit hits the fan.

I'm on my second diesel with zero out of pocket expenses other than normal oil changes. People saying they don't want a diesel because gas is better must be the same people in the thread saying they prefer cheap binoculars because expensive ones aren't any better.

Want something newer than an 2003. I've heard the 2006 2007 Duramax is the best and most dependable.

Chevy just doesn't compare to the ride of the King Ranch.

Find you a low milage unmolested 99-2003 crew cab 4x4 f250 with a 7.3 This. Easy to work on, parts are cheap and they have adequate power. Although a correct running stock 6.0, 6.4 or 6.7 will out pull a correct running stock 7.3 easily. To answer your question... Duramax by a mile.
