God somehow saw fit to bring him to us. He turned 2 Monday and has been with us since he was 6 months old. Aldeer brothers and sisters, meet Jacob Andrew! We never expected to adopt him...we thought it was to be the girls currently placed with us. But God knows best and is in control. Just wanted to share our awesome day. Stuff like this should get more publicity...not prying into folks' business, but just general adoption statistics and success stories of those who choose to give them. It's such a great thing, but I rarely hear about it...aside from what a nightmare it can be for prospective families to jump through all the hoops required by the system.
