I ran two of the Reconyx RM 45's for 7 years each before they finally died. Went completely under water twice in floods and Reconyx repaired for freight only. Both stayed in the woods almost full time. Got two of the newer models now going on four years with no issues. Its just a matter of spending the bucks up front and expecting great service, or just knowing you're going to keep replacing cheaper ones. If you are in an area where theft is a problem, the math changes, just run the disposable ones.
