And with what gun? Mine is (guessing) 500 yards with tikka 7 mag. Made a 375 yard shot saturday. I like them better at five yards with my bow but a long shot with precision gets me fired up boy!

60 yards...haha. I have only shot two deer and not much distance to either. Had the crosshairs on a buck at ~450 yards in a greenfield, but didn't take a shot since I had not practiced at anything more than 100 yards at the time.

600 yards plenty at 350 yards .on the 600 yard shot I couldn't beleive it mysef.I would have not even taken that shot,but my 10 year old daughter was with me.it was the first deer she had ever saw while hunting with me.2 does stepped out on a green feild ihad ona power line.we were hunting a different green feild on the same powerline you could see both. I was shooting a 7 mag ,my daughter said daddy shoot it,I told her it was way to far.but she kept on so I put the deer in the scope dead on her shoulder and squeezed the trigger I couldnt believe my eyes the deer dropped in her tracks.it was so far we had to get in the truck and circle about a quater of mile to get to her.I dint hit her in the shoulder but did hit her neck .I tried that shot a couple more times that year but missed. It was a one in a million shot but my daughter was going crazy.shs still has a rock the deer bled on in her bedroom.

489yds on a doe last year. Have made a ton in the 300+ range. All with the trusty 300win mag. Longest shot on a big buck was 343.

430yds with a marlin lever action 308mx. 4.5 yr old 7 pt at last light.

Longest shot I've took around 600yds and I missed by about foot low. Remington 700 30-06. I was young and it was a stupid shot. Longest kill 125 yds. Nef hand rifle 7mm-08.

Fired four rounds, three connected, two were fatal hits, one cut the front brisket, one miss. The bullet was the much maligned "ballistic tip" 130gr.
