E 600 yards plenty at 350 yards .on the 600 yard shot I couldn't beleive it mysef.I would have not even taken that shot,but my 10 year old daughter was with me.it was the first deer she had ever saw while hunting with me.2 does stepped out on a green feild ihad ona power line.we were hunting a different green feild on the same powerline you could see both. I was shooting a 7 mag ,my daughter said daddy shoot it,I told her it was way to far.but she kept on so I put the deer in the scope dead on her shoulder and squeezed the trigger I couldnt believe my eyes the deer dropped in her tracks.it was so far we had to get in the truck and circle about a quater of mile to get to her.I dint hit her in the shoulder but did hit her neck .I tried that shot a couple more times that year but missed. It was a one in a million shot but my daughter was going crazy.shs still has a rock the deer bled on in her bedroom. I'm not calling you a liar. But, there is no way you held on the shoulder and hit a deer at 600 yards. At that distance you are going to be about 40-45 inches low. Doekiller did you know they make scopes that have what is called target turrets, once you learn how to adjust the scope, know your equipment you can make shots easily out to 600 yards just by holding the scope crosshair dead on the target, now lets take this to consideration some folks will never ever understand this. Trust me I know this, and do this alot. He says it was a 1 in a million shot, that he tried it several more times and missed, that he couldn't believe it..... Those aren't the words of someone who has the proper equipment, and range time, to take 600yd shots.... Hold on there lead foot, Ol' Talltines may be such a bad shot , it was one in a million with a scope with target turrets.
