267 yards on a 9 point with a CVA .50 cal muzzle loader. Off of a shooting table with sandbag. Out of my back yard.

Nice shooting Big Game Hunter, would you be interested in sharing your what type scope, reticle etc? Do you load your own?

257 scope was a Swarovski 6-18x50 TDS reticle and a 6-24x50 with a TDS reticle. Load was custom done by a good friend. I believe he used R-22 but I have no other info but I can get it if you'd like.

300 was a Hakko 3-12x50 with a pled reticle. Ammo was Weatherby factory.

30-06 was a Leupold VX-2 3-9x50 with a standard pled reticle. Ammo was factory.

Just so you know I got the best equipment they a normal person can have .the 600 yard shot I admit was problaly a once in a liftime shot,but I can make 350 yard shots allday,not saying I kill every deer I shoot at,im anormal person I miss deer like everyone else.but im not scared to take the shot.I dont use range finders,just my 308 and leapold scope.im no more important than anyone else.I really cant understand why no one likes me .ive been hunting since I was 5 years old.I dont have money to join a hunting club,but I do have arond 800 acres I hunt private land.Iplant the best seed on the market,summer and fall.I consider myself a good respectful hunter its ptetty much my life.summer and winter.Im not gonna get into a argument for someone to believe me or not.I am truely blessed to still be on this earth if you know what I mean.im over that I take it one day at a time.for you guys that dont know what im talking about,I had a life changeing experiences back in 2012 im blessed to still be alive and gratful to still be able to do what I love to hunt.sorry for long post.just wanted to say thanks to aldeer for haveing me on such a great forum,good luck to everyone,be safe.

190 yards with a smokepole for a deer. 360 yards with .243wssm on sand bags for a groundhog.

Have you ever heard of punctuation? Commas, periods and capital letters? Spelling?

Last year: 2 does at 350yds in an afternoon. ~450yds on a 140 class buck in January. Upgraded scopes this year to try and get a doe at 500-1000.

First of all doekiller I dont have the money,some giy,s have I have a Leopold varaix 1 scope ,I used to shoot a 7 mag,until I got hurt.now same name scope with a browning sarfi 308. I pay no attion to ballistic on a box I set my scope 2 inches high at 100 yards and go from there.I try not to shoot over 200 yards.but aint scared to take a chance,if im in an area I seldom hunt.if I miss imiss all is stll good ,I have shot at a good deer on a long shot,and the deer get scared and run my way,done it serval times.when hunting sometimes strange things happen.

Figured I would give this thread an update. Missed one yesterday at 1300 yards. Wind was doped spot on but just a hair high.... Maybe next time if there is another opportunity. Good luck for those that are hunting this afternoon.
