Saw 16 this morning, 5 this afternoon. Was 78 when I got in the stand this afternoon. Didn't have a lot of hope given the warm temps, but turned out ok for me. Nothing bigger than a 6 point, but it was fun just to watch them

Big boys don't come out to play until it's cold....
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

If they aren't in pre rut or full rut stage may as well stay at home if you're after the big uns. No sense in stinking the place up when odds are lowest. It's hot, humid, full moon, no rut and gun seasons been open a week ....... they're moving at night.
Easterly and Southeasterly winds suck. Not to mention warm and humid, you're scent just hangs in the air, they'll smell you waaaaay before you can see them.
Now if ya just wanta roll a doe or any buck, a plot in the PM would be worth while if your set up is good.

I seen close to 30 deer last 3 days coming to an old pond next to a cutover behind the house.
