I hope to be in the woods from sunrise to sunset tomorrow (public land, bucks only). Plan on sitting over one saddle until noon and then another until sunset. For those of you that are hunting with it this warm, are you changing up where you're going to set up? Food plots aren't an option for me tomorrow.

Too hot to hunt anywhere, deer are not moving where i'm at.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

I went to a tree this morning I've seen deer every site this season and didn't see a thing. I agree this unseasonal weather is effecting movement

Had 3 super nice bucks chasing a hot doe this pm right at dark. One was a freak I just couldn't get him stopped where I needed him to stop. It's hot and miserable but our rut is starting right on time looks like.

75 degrees, no breeze and a full moon...nothing else to say.

I don't hunt when it's 70 plus degrees. Hope it gets cold before February 10th.

If they were rutting then yes. But with this heat and our rut still a little over a month out we're going to have a work day tomorrow and get a shooting house finished and a few more stands put up Lord willing.

Our bucks are wide open right now, but I'm just not in to it this year. When my boy wants to go we will go, other than that I'm enjoying my sleep and time at home until March.

Go fishing, some of my best big bass days were when it was too hot to climb a tree.
