I got the exact rifle my 10 yr old daughter has been shooting for 3 years now. It was my first rifle 30 years ago. You'll enjoy the little rifle jughead. I've got the same one with a Nikon monarch on it. Took it out the other day. It's a tack driver and a pleasure to carry. I used to wear them deer out with it, probably killed 40 or 50
