Benelli and Franchi are not going to lessen the recoil. They are inertia driven. You need to find a gas operated semi auto. The gas operation is what softens the recoil.
My Benelli M1 Super 90 12 ga has less FELT recoil than my 870 12 ga by a wide margin.....
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
