Hunting a water source this morning. As dry as its been they're bound to be thirsty

I got up and got my camo on.

Fixed some breakfast and got me a drink. I'm still on the couch. I think I will do just fine right here. Maybe a nap in my future.

I was gonna slip into the shooting house here at home but piss on it. The wife did see 3 cross the dirt rd as she was leaving a min ago.

I'm setup in Walker County this morning. Hoping one slips across this powerline before I have to do the family stuff.

Well, I got up to go hunt the little bit of land by my house...and look towards the woods and see the neighbors dogs running all through it. I called them back towards the houses, and waited a little while before heading out. Once I was ready to head out...the neighbors were firing shots into the woods...i think trying out their new guns (I don't know why this time). I'm guessing if there were deer there...they gone now. Also, I don't want to get shot.

Oh well, guess I'll wait till after Christmas! Good luck everyone.

It's 7:40 and rain has finally pushed on through. Just got set up so now all I need is a doe to drag one by me.

Still nasty here! the squall line that produced the naders looks to just be passing trough east central bama. Hope to be at it this afternoon and tomorrow. Good luck to anyone braving the conditions out there

We have been getting soaked and in the mid-70's here for a couple of days. I have only gotten 3 pics of deer on my Coverts since Sunday morning!

In southeast Crenshaw county sitting n a s/h. Rains been gone since about 5. Saw 3 coming in the gate but nothing since daylight.
