I'd rather have a filet than either but a bone in ribeye is a good steak. Truthfully, I'd rather have a good back strap than any steak.

Ribeye.Bone in or boneless .Well marbled.A flat iron steak and you wont eat another ribeye but they are hard to get.

Both are dang good, but if I HAD to make a choice I'd lean to the ribeye due to the flavoring the fat gives to the steak.

I like them both but given a choice it'll be a ribeye simply because of the marbling that gives it the flavor.
That'll be a choice grade too. Not select, not no roll, not utility grade but USA choice.
Got the charcoal heating right now. About to grill 16 of them here in a few. I'm grilling 15 tomorrow. All but 2 are 1 1/2 inches thick. If money wasn't an issue I like a good thick filet cooked medium rare. Gotta be cooked over hardwood lump.
