I went to the indian casino on Dozier road last night after the game and stayed just after midnight. My wife and I did this just to say we stayed up for new years. Let me tell you that place was packed. They were parking people up at the golf course clubhouse and bussing them to the door! People were walking what I think may have been a mile because they couldn't wait for the shuttle. Now I know all the evils of gambling and you can see it in there. A lot of money went through that place last night. Say what you want about it but they are gonna have enough money to buy the damn state before long. Were will that leave us?

It be's that way sometimes.

they will just go to Miss, florida or other states that allow gambling. Alabama is just losing out of revenue legally, plus alabama is one of the highest gambling states for football.

The politicians make more money under the table than they would if gambling was legal in this State.

Follow the money... Who stands to lose big if Alabama suddenly had the lotto? ...the Creek Indians, that's who. Who's worth over 200 BILLION? The Creek Nation, that's who. Who spreads enough money to keep Alabama from having a lottery? Now you've got it...

They take care of themselves, which is a good thing. I have a neighbor that is a Poarch Indian (sp) and she gets a check every month. Her children's college education is also paid by the tribe. I say more power to them, they got the worst screwing of any by the U.S. Government.

Yep, I like tribe and the way they take care of their own, not to mention provide work for many people. Judge when you have walked the streets of Bakersfield.
