I have a Sony HD tv sitting on my front porch that anyone can have if they are willing to drive to Sylacauga to get it. It was as good a tv as you could get when I bought it 15 years ago for over $2K, and I was still watching it as my main tv a month ago. I finally upgraded to a smart tv and have no use for this one. I could probably sell it for a few dollars, but its not worth the hassle. I think it would be great at a hunting camp.

Only problem I've ever had with it was the projection bulb burnt out after about 10 years. Its easy to replace and I bought an aftermarket one for about $50. The bulb still works fine, but you can see a few blue specks in the pic now, especially on shows that aren't in HD. A new bulb would fix that if you gotta have a perfect pic.

Don't pm me; just post here if you wanta claim it. First one to claim it has a week to get it off my porch. After that, I'll drop to #2. That's assuming anyone wants it. You make the donation to aldeer if you get it. 3% of nothing is nothing, so you can decide the amount. smile

Yea, and you can't claim 2k in deductions for a 15 year old set...

I shoulda asked $50 for it and there would probably have been 10 people claimed it by now. Offer anything free and most will think its no good - human nature. smile

I'd guess it weighs less than 50 pounds. Its an LCD, not plasma, so it needs to sit on a stand. I think its called a Grand Wega, or something like that. I'll look up the model number and post a pic tomorrow if nobody has claimed it. The new Samsung I bought has a picture that is only marginally better, but the old Sony won't connect to the internet.

Is America a great country or what? You can't even give away a nice tv. smile

This is one of the ones that's less than a foot thick? It's not like the old huge ones that take two grown men to tote
