For a guy that says he is in agreement with auditing the Fed, the SOB wouldn't even bother showing up to work today for vote (which needed 7 more votes to pass).

Heck, even Bernie Sanders showed up and voted FOR auditing the Fed...

That sucks. Sounds like I'm running out of candidates.

Cruz does not support doing anything to the Fed. He has a lot of big bank support.

That's my point Skinny. He co-sponsored the damn bill that he wouldn't show up to support. He likes the way it looks on a resume (and be sure, he touted "transparency" on the campaign trail) but when it comes down to the nut cutting, he cuts and runs.

I don't care what he did today. He was paid to be at work (at a job that he ran for and was elected to do) but did not show up. He's now in 3rd for most likely to not show up for a vote (behind Rubio & Graham).

So you have written Cruz off because of today (I don't know the details so I can't comment yet), but Rands capitulation to everything McConnell has asked of him, and his support of several establishment positions, hasn't
caused you to abandon him?

Paul had plenty of momentum to run for president before last year's elections but he sold out for McConnell and the establishment. He's desperate now and so are his supporters as they see his numbers tanking.

I didn't say I have written him off completely... it just pisses me off.

We love to point out every time B.O. bails out of office to go play golf or take another vacation, but the guy (some of us) is hoping to replace him with is also skipping work on important days.

Not only is he skipping work, he isn't there to support a bill that he co-sponsored? WTH is up with that?

I believe he started the day in NH and has another event in NC tonight.

I'd like to know his reasoning for skipping the vote. Weather it be campaigning or that something was included in the bill that he couldn't support.

Right now, we are in a currency war with China. Though I do not care for typical Fed policy, now is a terrible time to go messing with them.

There are other more important things to tend to for the next four-five years. ISIS, immigration, Obamacare, etc...

The Fed has been screwing up since 1913, another 4-8 years aint gonna hurt nothing.

There is no such thing as a clean bill these days.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Whatsherface cruz work(ed)(s) with Goldman Sachs. The man is literally sleeping with a "big" banker. It's not that bad though. Just know how to capitalize on whoevers going to win by getting familiar (Bumper stickers teach the most) with every single candidate. And do your best to elect the best scenario you could come up with.

It's in the Geneva convention or somethin.
