Jackson county ? It seems dead this year.,not a lot of pics of people killing deer this season in Jackson county . I haven't seen any action. My experience also. Went Saturday and saw trees, rocks and leaves--and one squirrel. Don't know what's going on there. Starting to be concerned about how many does are being taken from Skyline. I haven't heard any real good rut reports from Jackson to know if it has already occurred or is yet to.

Just pulled my SD cards at lunch. Spikes chasing and mounting does. Big bucks still scraping. This is in central Chilton county.

We had that issue in Macon Cty with exception of no collars on all four bull mix dogs. Four of them had been chasing our deer past us when in stands. Our fawn count was way down this season as well.
May we all die in bed at 95, shot by a jealous spouse

I hunt between 3 different properties with about 15 miles give or take apart and I'm telling you it's dead this season for some reason. My game cams aren't getting much action. One place that's my honey hole " was " I think is dogs is running them crazy. I got down this morning about 10 and had two dogs running by one stopped the other was on a scent. I just can't bring myself to shoot someone's dogs though. It had a coller and all I'm in Jackson county. Bucks have been chasing does since the first and still are

We've had the same problem in Macon County. I also can't bring myself to shoot someone else's dogs, although they appear to be strays.

No activity in my location. Shut down. Been a week since I have even seen a buck. I guess they are already "hooked up" and staying nocturnal.
