How many folks on here are going to admit they have tagged out this season? We simply need a better tagging system to record our harvests. The voluntary recording system is simply a joke.

last week I had a man tell me he had killed 7 small racked bucks this year with messed up racks. Claimed he was trying to get those bad genes out of their deer herd as not to pass them along. This has been going on there for as long as I can remember. Also told me he had filled all his families orders for deer this year. SMH.

I'm done...two 7 pts and a nine point, one doe ( club rules ) and a bobcat. 12 pt in illinois. Getting ready for next year.

I have not tagged out, but I am done. I have filled my freezer and almost burnt out hunting. However, I have a couple of photo's of a good one, I will try to eyeball him before the season ends.

I killed one 8pt, my son killed a 9pt and a 6pt. Were done. That's all we can eat. There's a beautiful 9pt I was wanting bad but were gona pray for him a few more days and hopefully get him next year. Have caught myself wishing I had passed on the eight I killed so I could have maybe got a chance at the big 9. I been hunting him 3 years. He was still alive on the 20th. The saga continues.

Got 2 good 8 points so far saving the best for last I hope.

I haven't shot a buck, but I would write each down and be done with my three.

Two bucks and a doe for me but we have killed 4 mature bucks off our 1200 acres so we likely will not shoot anymore this season.

We're done. Didn't tag out by any stretch but both boys got a doe and a nice, 3.5 year old buck by the oldest. Freezer is stocked, had a good safe season and have plenty of deer to look forward to next season. Made one more run at it last week and it was obvious my enthusiasm was gone. Now if I was in close proximity to the camp and it was ducks that I could chase, I'd be after them until the state told me I had to quit.

3 total for us . One doe and one mature 10 point with broken beams, passed up a lot , the neighbors took enough for me to know we didn't need to shoot anymore . My 7 year old son shot a little 5 point for his first deer , and I made him hold off on blasting everything he seen after that . He surely wanted to. I will go a couple more times this year , but his season is over, I'm sure he will be pumped to hunt youth weekend next year . I'm going to my best to put him on a nice buck next year. Deer are pressured and plot usage is strictky at night .

It's been a slow year. Hope to finish strong over the next two weekends.

I used the "Pocket Ranger" app, to report my small buck, that I killed the other day here in Alabama. Was very quick and easy to do. It generated a confirmation number I could write on my HL and it emailed me a copy as well. Seems very easy to do via smart phone apps.

One ten point and I'm done. My neighbors have killed plenty of does. Two shooters still on camera hope they make it till next year.

I've killed 1 buck this season. Good Lord willing maybe I will get one more. I've passed up some pretty good ones...

Club rules is 2 bucks for us. I've killed one and probably won't shoot another unless its a sure enough stud.

I figure the same amount of people will admit they're tagged out that do during turkey season. So about 1-5%.

I've only killed one doe, but it was my first deer, so I'm happy with it. Would love to get one more deer, but doesn't look like I'll get a chance. No way I'm tagging out :P

Sounds like your buddy is the problem and is far from the majority. Burdening the majority with crap does not fix the problem. Unless of course you think that Obamacare and gun control is good.

So, why not try to kill the 9? No more time to hunt?
