Heck..I AM a local hero round here.
It aint easy..I watch a ton of bucks and only kill them if they reach 4 plus years old.Usually 5 or older. You think it is easy to pass in that buck in that video? Hell..I was doing TV...I was PAID to shoot em!
Trigger restraint goes a LOOONNGG way.
Heck..the 170 14 pt I killed on COAL GROUND!
A reclaimed coal mine. I just dont shoot unless they are big. That 150 inch 14 pt too. Same ground in Walker county. That's cool but you can let them walk around here and never get a 150. We have killed a few in the 120 range and have killed plenty 5plus year old bucks and they would all average 100 inches. Just don't have the genetics or soil for that kind of bucks. I guess sand and pine trees just don't have a lot of nutritional value lol Dang..I killed my first Bama buck in South Bama! 128 Inches and 2 days in Bama hunting. Then went to Union Springs and saw a 150. Hunted with Ole DAX from down there. He killed a 180 plus. People know who I mean,..ep..If More folks would hold back they'd kllem. However..dont get me wrong..Im hunting with guys that kill every 3 year old they see...however I just set higher standards for my self. I only need 1-2 deer and 5 ( FIVE DANG IT!~ no 3 bird limit!) gobblers to eat thru the year!
