I never thought I'd have a chance in Southeast Alabama. 10 years ago when I killed my first big buck everybody told me I was crazy for not mounting it because it'd be the biggest buck I'd ever kill. It was about a 120" 10 pt. Now I have a few bigger than him, including the 162" brute in my avatar from this season. And I've seen wayyyy more true giants taken in my area the last two years than I have my whole life. We still have a good bit of agriculture here and I think the QDM philosophy and buck limit combined with our above average amount of agriculture (Houston/Henry county) have led to a spike in bigger bucks. I saw three racked bucks Wednesday over 120". That was unheard of 10 years ago atleast in my circles.
