All corn is baiting. The only legal question or not is whether you can hunt near it. Not sure what I think, in terms of making it legal. The more I hear people slobbering all over themselves about trying to figure out how to sit and watch over a corn pile or feeder and not actually hunting or not learning how to hunt the more I am against it. But, I am not and never have been a magic bullet kind of guy.

I think it should be banned altogether . Me too, supplemental feeding too. But only because that hurts the the high fence operator and it would make them supplemental feeding their freak of nature bucks illegal as it was before the rule change. How many tickets were written on high fence operations before the rule change?

With turncoat Will Ainsworth in an elected position we may see something pass in favor of baiting
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Legalize it and end the damn argument and confusion! It's not going to affect anyone's hunting if it is legalized. It's not a magic bullet.

There is a bill in both the House and Senate. They were introduced yesterday, read again today, sent to the agriculture and forestry committee, approved, and will be read for the third time tomorrow....
My understanding is that it legalizes baiting for "whitetailed deer and feral swine."
The House sponsor is Boothe, and the Senate sponsor is Whatley. Anything to do away with the vagueness of the current law.
