I purchased my 2004 Crew Cab Tundra in 2008 for $15K. It had 30K miles on it when I bought it. It was a good deal at the time. But nothing crazy. It now has 168K miles on it and it books for about $13K-$14K. To me that is insane! My only complaint is that I purchased this truck when I was not hunting much and I didn't need 4wd. Now I want a 4wd truck soon and I am afraid that I will just stick with my truck.

$30K - 40K for a one year old used, new to me Tundra is ridiculous!!!!!

I think when banks started giving out these 6-8 year loans for new vehicles, it allowed the prices to go up so that people could "afford" the higher prices.

It used to be that 5 years was the max you could get a loan for. Now you can get an 8 year loan at my local credit union for a new vehicle. That's insane to me!!!!!
