i cant say what others folks have seen, but at our club. We'll turn loose 20-30 dogs at a time. And some of them are very good at what they do. Most run either treeing walker or english walkers. They have never caught a deer that wasnt injured, not even a yearling.
I dont know about how quich they get oxgen in ther blood, but do know that even after the dogs are run down, and we dump a fresh pack on a running deer, they still cant catch the deer.
