Something was apparently wrong with this deer before it caught the attention from these dogs.
If you take a healthy dog and dump it off in the middle of the woods he will scavenge to stay alive and depending on the breed might show an aggression towards other animals but without human interaction they will definitely starve to death. Unlike a house cat that still has the instincts to hunt for food and will thrive without human interaction and turn feral. Dogs have been domesticated for so long they don't have the instinct to hunt for food. Their instinct is totally for chase(hounds) and attack(catch dog) but not to hunt. A hunting pack requires a pack mentality with a lead alfa from a group of family members. These pictures are just a group of dogs that roam around and stumbled on an opportunity.
