As all of you know I just lost my job after 9 years,and it has been a very trying week for me.I have lots of time to go over,and over this in my mind.In fact it has consumed me,in so much that it has caused some stress in my home.
Today is probably the best day I have had,as far as not feeling sorry for myself.I guess I never really thought about what I have actually gained from my job.
I think back,and see all the new friends,and experiences that I may have never come to know without that job.
I actually learned a new trade,that will almost guarantee I can always find work.
I found this site,which I know I would have never found,and through this site have added a lot more friends across this state.I owe all of this to my time at that job.
Thank all of you guys for making me feel welcome here,and I look forward to many more years here.

Best jobs I have had came after being laid off. They weren't the best because I needed a job but because the new job was a better fit and better wages. Hope you have similar luck.

Keep your head up and pray about it. Now days, there is no loyalty between employer and employee. God has a plan and it might not be your plan. I can assure you that his plan is better than yours. I've been in a similar situation before so I know what youre feeling. Pray that he will open the doors that are meant for you and close the ones that aren't. Do your part, get your resume updated and be looking for perspective employers. Stress and worry doesn't do you or your family any good. You'll land on your feet. There will be a bunch of people on here praying for you to find what is right for you and your family.

Hey keep your head up. I got laid off week before last for the 2nd time after getting to work for a month. This time they say indefinitely. But we will be ok. Cause we will do what we have to do to take care of our families.
