When I was younger, my Mom used to put a pinch of baking soda in water she was boiling to make tea...it helps mitigate chlorine and other additives. I have a well, now, but still do that now and then. I also put a pinch of salt in the basket when making coffee...helps to keep the coffee from getting bitter so soon.

Never realized I did it until it was pointed out to me a long time ago, and don't have any idea WHY I do it, but anytime I'm waxing a vehicle, I always wax the hood first, then the back, then the sides, then the roof.

What's crazy is people not knowing, within a few pennies, exactly how much money they have at any given time. And that's tough to do if you don't balance your checkbook regularly.

Always carry a knife. As a kid, I would ask Papaw if he had a knife. His answer was always, "I have my pants on, don't I?"

Get to places on time, which meant to my dad to leave early enough to change a flat and still be on time. Drives my wife crazy.

Be the first to church on Sunday morning so you can shake everyone's hand and open the door.

Always and I mean always have a pocket knife, think he would still whip me today if he found me without one.

Me too. One thing I do with no reason as to why. My left sock goes on first, then right followed by left shoe or boot, then the right. I've done it the other way just to see what the difference is, and there is none once they're on except it just doesn't feel right putting them on.

Same

also, when I brush my teeth, I go in the same order every time....top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, left side (with teeth together), right side (with teeth together), front (with teeth together). Also, I have to do the same number of strokes in each spot. that number varies from brushing to brushing, but if I do 20 on the top left then I have to do 20 in every other "spot"....

I know, it's crazy. I have a lot of minor OCD tendencies and most are related to symmetry in some way

I do 10 repetitions on each area on the teeth brushing.

In the shower I shampoo first then work my way down.
Then shave
Then brush teeth
All in the shower

Left sock
Right sock
Left shoe/boot
Right shoe/boot

Phone in left pocket
Pocket knife in right pocket
Watch on left wrist
Wallet in left back pocket
Pistol in right back pocket

Bills in wallet with all the creases removed and in order by denomination and all the dead presidents facing the same way

Same shyt everyday... grin

Sleep nekkid. Have since I was a kid. I can't stand pajamas bunching up in weird places. The wife started sleeping nekkid too soon after we married. It makes things really convenient... grin

I always keep my watch and all the clocks in the house 10 minutes fast so I'm never late for anything.

that would stress me out not matching my iphone. (actual time).

I have it where the second hand on my watch actually hits the number on exact actual time per my phone.

I always have my case knife, Carmex, and a silver dollar that my dad gave me when I was younger in my left front pocket. He use to use it to flip for what place we were going to hunt that day.

This. Nobody seems to care about punctuality anymore.

I live by what my first boss told me:
If you're early, you're on time
If you're on time, you're late
If you're late, don't even bother showing up

I would have to say being on time as well. If I feel like I am going to be late somewhere, especially if I have told someone I would be there, my wife would tell you im going to become extremely agitated.
