Here is my take...

Rubio and Cruz will split the conservative vote along with the Right leaning independents making it impossible for either to win the primary.

Super Tuesday is tomorrow also and that will just about secure 1237 count Nomination (at least send Trump so far ahead it will be virtually impossible for anyone else to catch him. With more liberal primaries coming up as they candidates wrap up the south that only helps Trump further.

The only way for anyone to steal the nomination from Trump is for all of them to bow out except maybe Rubio (much as I hate to say it since I am a Cruz guy). The party donors will rally behind Rubio and the Super Pacs will get in line too.

Cruz can't galvanize that type of support since he puts his conservatism before the party and has told them many times to go to hell, not the least of which was the Senate Majority leader whom he called a Liar on the floor of the Senate.

Further Cruz might win a couple more states but then as the primaries move to more liberal states Rubio will soon be running laps around him.

Trump may have the headlines and the support of the press at the moment but when it is a two horse race between him and hillary and the oval office is at stake the press will destroy Trump with the most sensational stories you have ever seen, many will be true.

There will be clips of him degrading women, videos of him losing peoples life savings, destroying small businesses, there will be reports of him suing hundreds of people frivolously, dragging people through legal hell in order to force them into bankruptcy, pics of him and the clintons partying together, they will be listing all the times he gave Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi money or helped them campaign.

Reports of him sleeping with porn stars, videos of him assaulting the constitution ESPECIALLY the 2nd amendment. They will parade his anti pro life comments at every turn.

The Media will destroy Trump and the devastation will be of historic proportions unlike anything you have ever seen. The republicans will run for cover and jump right in bed with the liberals and media in an attempt to distance themselves from Trump, thus handing an easy victory to Hillary.

Wait till you see Trump's taxes saying that he isn't worth the 10 Billion he claims and that he is instead hundreds of millions in debt.

The debates during the general election will be HILLARY-arious. She will absolutely make him look silly and have him chasing his tail while she runs circles around him.

Remember the debates in the general leave 3 minutes for answers not 30 seconds like the primaries. So what will Donald Trump say for three minutes, "...it will be so great, we will have so many healthcare alternatives to Obamacare. There will be many many many many many things we will do. I know a great doctor who is the best at being great in so many ways that it will be the best of that."

Trump has no substance...just one liner hot button topic answers. "We are sick of illegals taking our jobs. I will build the biggest wall you ever saw, Bigger than the great wall of China, bigger than Pink Floyd's album cover, it'll be so great."

I am pretty sure I could destroy him in a debate on policy with 3 minute answers...I would just remain quiet and refuse to speak.

Every republican candidate needs to get behind Rubio and then eh might be able to squeak through to 1237 delegates in a close race

Two things stand out in your argument as possible fallacies:

1. He does not have to show his taxes or at least his true taxes and the IRS can't legally call him out on it.

2. I disagree and think he shames Hillary in a debate. She has more to cover up or ignore than he does. Personally, I think his indiscretions pale in comparison to hers. His never caused any Americans to be killed (that I know of) or put our countries secrets in jeopardy.

It amazes me the amount of people that are in such awe of Hillary's debating skills.

I am definitely not a Trump supporter, however I disagree with the OP. It's doesn't matter if Hillary "destroys" Donald in debates. His supporters do not care. He can continue to say the same things, same talking points, same message and he will still be popular. As a matter of fact he is quick on his feet and very witty. I can see Hillary going on a 3 minute epic scathing take down of Donald Trump, pressing Donald on policy answers and Donald will say something like, "your face looks like a dogs butt, that must be why bill hooked up with Monica". And BOOM, people will eat that stuff up. I think he beats Hillary in a general election. She is damaged goods and I think it will be pretty easy for him to expose her. Trump doesn't play by the same rules. He will be ruthless in one on one debates.

If you vote for trump tomorrow you might as well.
1. Trump can not debate, all he does is berate people.
2. Trump does not have any kind of plan for anything, just that it will be great, and the wall will be 10 feet taller, that is not going to win anything, he has to have at least some kind of idea as to what he's going to do and how to do it; he doesn't have either.

3. Trump has just as many skeletons if not more in his closet as Hillary.
4. Trump's ego will get in his way and as soon as the Clinton machine hits him he will stick out his lip and whine that there not being fare.
5. The news media wants him to be the nominee because they know that they will help take him down(and very easily at that) for Hillary.
6. Hillary will have the black and the Hispanic vote.

If he doesn't show them, then that will be the story, that he has something to hide. It will gain traction.

I agree, Hitlary, but it's all old news..Benghazi, Classified Emails, Clinton Foundation money for access from foreign interests, unequal pay for women, Staffers having jobs that they shouldn't, etc...

The media won't drill none of it home or report on any of it the way the will the stuff on a republican presidential candidate. They will Hammer his ass every day and it will be a blood bath.

I hope I am wrong in all this, I do. It's just my take which may be heavily flawed.

IMO, the debates are worthless. If you haven't made up your mind based on their record and platform they have put forth already and have to depend on their debating skills to make your mind up, you're probably not smart enough to vote, or at least you don't need to vote.

I agree that all Trump does is berate people, but most of our population like that and think it is debating. Of course they also think Jerry Springer is a journalist.

I think Trump will slay Hillary. Too many people are sick of the manure spewing from her mouth. Just sick of politicians.

Trump supporters will NOT turn on him because of anything Hillary does, says or manipulates to hurt him. They hate her more than can be expressed and rightly so.

Jawbone is right. Who knows what dirt he has on her. He probably has people digging up dirt to make her look bad in a debate. Besides, He'll be more polished by the time of a debate if there is one. She may be on trial.

You people underestimate the Trump. He has been working on his bid for President for 4 years and has the $$$ and has bought the brightest campaign workers that money can buy. Everyone thought Obama had the perfect campaign team but Trump took his 10 steps further, just look at his #'s.

Isn't that what they said after his first debate, and he got his butt handed to him at the last one.

Trump wins nomination and gets president.

Trump wins nomination and loses to Hillary.

Either way I'm gonna enjoy the next four years of finger pointing at the Trumpkins.

By nominating Trump they'll get Hillary and what they deserve.

By nominating Trump they'll get what what they THINK they want, then suffer for being stupid for four years, getting what they deserve.

Has people not been saying these same things about trump since he announced his campaign. All he's done is pick up steam when people said his campaign would be de railed. The man is putting record crowds together, like it or not he's connecting to people some how or another and I bet the majority of the people Who support him could care less what he says that's not politically correct. His supporters are sick and tired of the PC crowd and he has made his bed with the people tired of it.

For the record I like Cruz,Carson,Trump then Rubio.

I'm figuring Trump will win the Nomination, I'll be voting for Cruz.

If none of the other guys can win their nomination, how would they win the Presidency? I'm assuming that most people will have already decided if they are going to vote one way or the other before the debates ever even start so I'm not 100% sure that a debate against Hillary or Bernie will make the difference.

For the Record, I would LOVE to see Cruz dismantle either Hillary or Bernie.

Trump would just stand up there telling people how he will be "A better President than the democrat nomination would ever dream to be and that He would be so much better then the democrats that their heads would literally spin. They would spin so fast that you have never seen anything spin this fast. I mean they would really spin." Verbatim, I imagine he would use that exact line in a debate.

I think ANY of the Republican nominations would be better then what we have now and way better then Hillary or Bernie.
