My neighbor directly behind me,has 2 dogs chained up.One is a decent size husky,the other a small mixed breed.The small dog has the bigger chain??I mean a pull your truck out of the mud chain.These dogs are located closer to my propert/home than his.And yep the odor of poop comes my way when the wind blows just right.The worst part is they get no attention so when I walk into my own back yard they have a fit..I mean barking their heads off.I am gonna replace the chain link fence with a full privacy fence just so I don't have these dogs staring at us while using the pool this summer.I am gonna confront this guy about these issues,but he's a Obama-future Hillary supporter (if you get my drift) and I almost know he'll have the my land I do as I want attitude.I'm posting this to see if anyone else has any suggestions or advice on how to handle this without creating a all out fued.

He feeds them,that is all.Why bother having a dog if you put it on the edge of your property and do nothing with it.

It's a quiet neighborhood other than his dogs raising hell 24/7.

My opinion......Dogs shouldn't be on a chain. If you're not financially able or willing to fence at least a small area for them to be able to move, restraint free then you shouldn't have dogs.

Neigbor said he didn't let them run loose in his yard because he didn't want them chittin by his house,guess it's okay close to mine.

He can do as he likes with his dogs. Unless he is abusing them not much you can do. File complaints if they are bothering you and have other neighbors do the same. Or make the dogs dissappear.

Welcome to the club. At least the dogs aren't loose killer pit bulls that run free and chase cars and deer down the road. The dogs run away onto other people's property then the adults send their young kids around to look for the lost killer dogs. Bunch of losers.

Well, I'd start by not going in looking for a fight as it kinda appears you may be doing. If you decide confronting him is the best course of action, start out by doing so cordially and politely. Don't act pissed off until he gives you a reason to. And if he declines to give in to your request, just move on (assuming he's acting within the law) because fighting and arguing with him will get you nowhere. build your fence and make the best of it.

Man it does stink, literally, to have a neighbor like this. Some people act like they are the only one in the neighborhood (I feel the same way about big, noisy motorcycles). I think you are at an impasse unless you just want to move or slip some arsenic in puppy's Kibbles N' Bits. (joking)

Some of my land runs all the way to one of my neighbor back patio..The original owner decided to build at the back of his property to get as far of a busy road ad possible.Does that mean that I cant use every available inch of mine??
