All's fair in love & war, brother. Up till 2 years ago, I thought this maneuver was illegal. Nope. I personally, like you, disapprove, but there was one bird 2 years ago that HAD I KNOWN it was legal, I would have definitely blasted his *ss off the limb & gladly walked out of the woods a jack-*ss.

My grandpa let out a loud fart one morning and the bird we were hunting gobbled not far away. Truck horns, thunder and lightning

I had forgot some goofy old hag stood on the side of the blacktop on time screaming and honking her horn trying to run me off. Them turkeys gobbled like wild every time she did it. (I was legal btw)

Cows, geese, jake brake on a big truck, neighbors kid on a place I used to hunt had straight pipes exhaust on his truck. Every time he would crank up to go to work around 7 there would be 2 or 3 that would give their position away and gobble

The 2nd turkey I killed last year gobbled the 1st time I herd him at a small plain that flew over. He gobbled numerous times at that little aggrivating yapping dog our nieghbor has. The strangest thing he gobble at was that aweful sound I was making with that mouth call. That bird was ready to die because he came rite to the gun barrel.

Years ago and buddy and I were in Chambers County and we found three turkeys gobbling on a creek. We didn't know exactly where they were so we got in the truck and drove down to the bridge. My buddy gets out of the truck and owls again and these three gobble just down the creek maybe 60 yards from us. He owls again and they cut him off. One more time and they go into a gobbling fit and are losing their minds. He gets to laughing and owls again and on the last bar he starts going "Here turkey, turkey, turkey". They start losing their minds again. We knew we were too close so we got in the truck and eased back up the road. Walked off in the pines and sat down. Within one minute of them flying down we had all three of them in front of us strutting and carrying on. Jakes.

What a let down.

The sound of my 7 year old and her sister and couisins running through the woods playing chase. Me and my brother had hunted that morning, we were on a morning walk and the kids were screaming and laughing and Bam a turkey gobbled at 300 yards. We got them quite and circled around, came within one oak tree of killing that turkey. He wouldn't come around that last tree and vanished....

Trkymn6fo had one gobble when he dropped a lug nut wrench, while changing a tire. Walked in the woods and harvested.

Rooster, and dogs barking. Did have a guy tell me he's as loud as possible getting out of his truck, cause they gobble at his truck door closing often.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.
