Good deal! Shooters, are you gonna put on a N AL clinic? Probably not, I just got too busy with the coyote trapping. The only days I have off are the rainy ones. That's a good problem to have!....

I'm still in but still be around lunch getting there. Just talked to Barnes and he is planning on being there but has a Father in Law on life support that could interfere. He said he was coming if nothing changes on that front.

Had a good time today with some great folks. Thanks to everyone for coming and big thanks to bustinbeards, Mr. Jimmy and Ms. Jan for having us on their place and feeding us a excellent lunch. That chili was some kind of fine.
I'll post some of the pics Amanda took tomorrow.

Great to meet everyone, had a great time! It was great to fellowship and enjoy a beautiful day with great people. folks, Ol Hank put on quite the presentation, tons of great info and knowledge about traps and trapping. Types of sets, how, where, when, why, and typical animal behavior. And great lessons about bedding Traps. If you are thinking about trying to control your predator problem Ol Hank is yer fella, I highly recommend trying to attend one of his classes if he has one near you. Thanks to all of y'all for coming out, lots of good people here on AlDeer
I Well, the way I see it is there's just too many assholes On a good day there's a bunch of assholes in here. On a bad day there's too many assholes in here.

Thanks Ron! Yesterday was a first for us and I hope everyone was happy with the information presented. I'm open to any suggestions as to what y'all think we could do to make it better also as hopefully this won't be our last time doing it. One thing I thought of last night was I wish I would have made more complete sets. Hindsight is 20/20 but I'll know more next time.
Actually being there and getting your hands on things is a lot different than watching it on youtube. I had folks teach me but I learned more from my own mistakes. It's very discouraging to put time and money into trapping then check empty traps day after day so if I can share what I've learned to keep others from loosing interest in it then it's good for the sport.

Thanks Hank, we enjoyed it and learned a lot. Thanks also to Ron for hosting and providing a location for the event. Glad to put some faces with the names for a change. I should have taken more notes and some pictures. Don't be surprised to get questions from me later. Thanks again for the learning experience.
