You're just too open pal. Some guns are like that for whatever reason and also for whatever reason...I haven't had a gun YET that will shoot a pattern worth a chit with either a flush or extended Carlson's choke. You're gonna have to choke it down some and use a ported, quality turkey choke most likely. Borrow somebody's IC .555 and try it before you try anything else. That cheapo .565 Tru-glo (Gobble Stopper - GSX) that wmd mentioned has also proven to be real consistent in the short Remington barrels too (what we use in my son's gun).
