Do those come in different calf sizes? I ask, because I tried on a pair of used ones, nearly identical to those, a while back that I was thinking about buying. They fit fine as far as foot size - plenty of room. but through the calves they were so tight it was like they were cutting the circulation off, and I was wearing shorts when I tried them on. No way I could've even thought about tucking pants into them. They were uncomfortably tight even just over my bare legs. And I don't have big legs by any means - heck I've been accused of having chicken legs. I don't know how any grown man could've worn them.

Those look like a pretty penny

Only accurate rifles are interesting.

Sounds like ya may have tried on a pair of the women's or something. They do adjust. Only way I could see anyone having problems with them is if they have very large calves and tried to tuck their pants in. My legs are normal size and I have plenty of room in mine
