That we do. Although I doubt a dealer will let me walk out of the store to range something 1000 yards away. I have been looking for a rangefinder that can consistently range a deer 1300 yards and under for quite some time now and haven't found one that will consistently do that. The most cost effective as I stated earlier was the terrapin. However I could not afford one before they D/Ced them. For my goals in shooting if I cant range a deer sized animal at any given distance then I don't need it. The Terrapin PLRF-05 was the bomb!!! I had one for about 3 weeks. 2400 meter rangefinder. I hit a rocklegde at 3240 yards. Guys on SniperHide were hitting glass building out to 4340 yards. Was the best rangefinder for under 2k ! I got mine for 1800. You can pick them up used for around 1500 now. They out shined the PLRF-10s AND PLRF -15 is why I think they quit making them!

If you ever hear of one for sale hit me up. Currently trying to save for the truck some new shoes but it would have to wait for something like that.
Only accurate rifles are interesting.

Save your $$$ and buy the best equipment you can and practice, practice, practice. When I have a known yardage I have no problem shooting a deer at 700 right now. I'll be pushing the 900 mark next year I hope. Doping the wind on the fly is the hardest part. What are you shooting. Custom 7saum and 300wsm. Shooters has been my coach from day one. If I can do it, anyone can learn to.

Man and I thought 200 was a long way. I like my shots 100 and in. preferably in a lot.
“Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.”
On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”
