My boss's buddy killed it with a 45 long colt with two Texas heart shots. He put the mount near the bathroom to try to scare us. My boss is awesome! I moved it around since it has wheels to try and get some pics. Great bear, weighed close to 600 lbs. so I hear.

Wax it treed? I assume since he was hunting with pistol it was. Pretty cool kill with a cool caliber.

A few points.

That's a TERRIBLE mount.

That's not a 600lb bear.

Records for bears go by skull size, not body square or weight.

A few more points:

I don't care

State of TN says it was

I know that, I'm not 100% sure of the score, over 20 inches maybe. Idk.

That left eye has definite issues.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but this one is apparently an example of "good" work, considering it was apparently an award winner...does look a lot better in the face.

Yea camera angle some, and I should have mentioned after he shot it, it fell from the tree and rolled down a Rocky Mountain side. May have something to do with it. But hey it's not my mount not my bear, I was just sharing it with you guys.
