The last time I ate at red lobster my girlfriend had broken fluorescent bulb glass in her salad.

Yep..Haven't ate there in many years..I always go to Subway if I'm in Jemison..And for yall that eat that Chinese garbage...How??I have never one single time stepped foot in a Chinese restaurant and don't plan to.

Trox you don't know what you are missing!! find the right Chinese restaurant and they are great... The Hong Kong Taste by the Win-Dixie in Clanton Is great I know the owner and he keeps that place spotless and the food is always good..

I worked at a grocery store in college. And I was being moved into the office. LAST NIGHT as a sacker, I was asked to clean the women's bathroom. Manager said someone shat all over the place. I thought..can't be too bad. Someone literally backed her arse in the stall and let it fly. There was spray all over the toilet and back/side walls of the stall. I couldn't believe someone ...especially a woman...could possibly do that. I sprayed clorox everywhere and used a mop to clean the bulk up. Needless to say I didn't miss being a sacker.

If we ever have food issues it's when eating out with my mom. It's not nasty, but we was eating at Jim N Nicks in Jasper a few months ago. Mom was eating a bbq sandwich and felt something. She pulled out a piece of butchers paper atleast 12 inches long. LOL The manager apologized and removed it from her bill. But my mom is ALWAYS the one.

Like mention before, if you have ever been in one they are mostly nasty. From not changing the grease in the fryers to lifting up the stove lid to find a mouse nibbling on food.
I have been in the Krystal's on south college in Auburn, and that son of a gun was clean. Shocked me.

What they make you do to a toilet is not clean. Damn gut grenades.

Worked for Hobart for a couple years. Not only restaurants but meat markets in grocery stores.

Eating at home is the best remedy.

I ordered breakfast from Burger King one morning and saw rats running across the floor in the kitchen. I took my bag of food, left, got to work, and dropped it in the garbage. My coworker saw me and inquired. I told her. She called and asked to speak to the person in charge. The lady admitted that they had a little "problem".

Me and the family are eating at CiCis pizza in Tuscaloosa a couple years ago not but a few people in there at the time when I noticed a small toddler who belonged to the Mexicans working there kept going up to the bar an getting pizza. Well I noticed the little fellow elbow deep in his diaper then reaching for more pizza we just got our plates the kids and wife already chowing down on pizza and for the first time in my life I ate a salad. I got up said lets go now of course everybody is mad at daddy. We get home later on around midnight we hear the youngest kid getting sick in the hallway the wife takes of running to late puke all in the kitchen floor she hit the puke slips and falls right in the middle of it kid # 2 wakes up heads for the bathroom don't make pukes all in the bathroom floor I am now on the front porch boxer shorts puking from all the puking kid # 3 wakes up pukes all in her room then the wife starts after it all calms down the wife starts cleaning up I look over and there is our house dog licking up puke out of the floor I start again I get sick just riding by a CiCis pizza never again will I eat there.

I always say if they are using cats then they sure do taste good!!!!

I'm not too good to do almost any line of work...but I think I draw the line with cleaning chit off a public restroom wall.Sure you wipe your own kids butt and change diapers but a public restroom is a whole nother animal.

Tuscaloosa Logan's a few years ago, where you can watch them prepare your food. Guy is mopping barbeque sauce on some ribs and drops his mop on the floor. Just picks it up, and continues to mop.

I worked for a company right out of college that did a lot of commercial cooking equipment work and refrigeration work. I spent two years working through out restaurants in north Alabama and I can tell y'all I've seen some nasty stuff. When working there, us techs knew where to stop and where not to stop for lunch or to eat period for that matter. One of the most common nasty things we would see is lack of maintenance or cleaning on the ice machines. The water curtains, water troughs and ice plate and ice bins would be disgusting. If most of you had seen some of them ice machines you'd never get a drink with ice out in public or always ask for a bottle drink. Ive also seen a lot of nasty walk in coolers in my days. Honestly I don't know how some of them passed health inspection unless it was a scheduled inspection vs a random inspection.

There's is a Chinese place up the rd from our office, one day some of the guys wanted to go. I dislike Chinese food with a passion. As soon as we walked in the door there is a moldy algae infested foyer with a coy fish pond in it. You can tell it hadn't been tended to in some time. Made me sick just thinking of what the kitchen looked like.

Are Chic-fil-a restaurants universally clean? I've always been impressed but let me know if yall have seen bad stuff there.
After reading the stories above, it's amazing we don't get sick more often.

I agree. They seem to really push it into their company culture. You never see any real misfits working there.

I went into a KFC in birmingham years ago.The guy that was battering the chicken walked from the kitchen area to the bathroom and had batter all over his hands.When he returned to the kitchen he had batter still all over his hands and this time had it caked up on his fly.I got up,threw my food away and left.I havent had KFC since.
